St. Wenceslas Church

The impressive parish church of St. Wenceslas stands to the south of Naumburg market square and is the landmark of the civil part of town. It was rebuilt after 1426 and the interior was redone in Baroque style in 1724. The West portal was built around 1510/1520. It is famous for its Hildebrandt organ. Its treasures include important paintings including "Suffer the Little Children to Come unto Me" and "The Adoration of the Three Magi" by Lucas Cranach the Elder.
